Handcrafting quality teak products since 1985

Teakworks4u was founded by Douglas Austin in 1985. He set up shop in Houston, Texas where he built a reputation for quality that lives on today. Austin expanded the business in 2007 by opening a second location in Savannah, Georgia. Following Hurricane Ike, the Texas location was closed due to heavy damage.

In the spring of 2009, Teakworks4u moved lock, stock and barrel from Georgia to Winona, Minnesota following the sale of the company to Scott Biesanz. A new 1,000 square foot workshop was built in the facility which houses three other companies owned by Biesanz.
