Hello,
With a steep slope to the drain we would recommend either adding adjustable feet to the mat or for us to send shims along with the mat to ensure you're able to keep the mat level. When placing a custom mat order please let us know which of these options you'd like us to go with. The adjustable feet is the better option however this requires at least 2" of depth in your shower pan.
